READING

These days if you go up to people who don't read books and ask them to, they'd be less inclined to do so. However, if one ever does start reading, it is almost impossible to stop. Once you find the right book for yourself, and get into it, you cannot stop.

When I was eleven, I started reading Harry Potter and my life changed. Once I opened the book, the real world didn't exist anymore. All that mattered was magic, spells and everything of the sort. I didn't need anyone or anything to keep me occupied anymore. The feeling I get when I read any book is inexplicable. I can forget about all my worries and problems and just read.

Reading is not only extremely captivating, but also improves your grammar and vocabulary, which is extremely essential these days.

Reading non-fictional books like biographies increase our knowledge and keep us well informed.
Reading is not like studying; you don't need to mug up or learn anything. Reading is like watching a movie, except it is playing in your head.

Whilst reading fictional books, you get transported to another world. The characters become your friends and honestly, who needs real people anyway?

Also, the world books create is honestly better than the one we live in.
